Recommended Tools Camping World University students are responsible for suppling their own tools for training. Below is a list of tools required to participate fully in the class sessions. Socket Sets - 3/8 drive thru 13/16, both metric and standard 1/4 Drive small set, both metric and standard Combination Wrenches (box and open end) 3/8" to 1" set, both metric and standard Extra 3/8" and 7/16" combination wrenches 10" adjustable wrench Assortment of pliers - needle nose, channel lock, straight jaw pliers, cutting pliers, vise grip pliers, hose clamp pliers Assortment of screwdrivers Assortment of allen wrenches - long handle and short handle
Test light (12V DC) Wire stripper and crimpers Small hammer Knife or Razor Tape Measure Hacksaw and blade Safety glasses Power screw driver Electric Drill and drill set Calculator
Brass Drift Punch (used for removing brake bearings and races) Rivet Gun with nose pieces for 3/32", 1/8", 5/32", 3/16" diameter rivets Rivets Work Gloves Flashlight Mechanics Mirror No large roll tool boxes allowed There are other tools which will be needed to perform sufficient service when the graduate becomes employed. They are not required for graduation. Many of these tools may be made available to Camping World University students for a reduced fee.
